These smart, such adult eyes — so familiar to me since I make movies for kids with cancer … How much patience and calm in this pretty face as this child has gone through a lot, and at the same time … how charming he is! On the video of David, which I watched, I saw one thing: David loves mom, loves not just as a child, but as a man-defender, as a warrior. When his mother was interviewed and talked about the son's illness, he was sitting there and repeated the same thing: "Mom, you just do not cry, please … Everything will be alright …" "My God, he was only five years old!" — I thought. And I was thinking, what amazing babies, characters are introduced to me by the Lord. What a great honor for me to know about them. Because one look at such boy as David gives will to life. Because he is an amazing example of the will to live, love of life … I hope that my little film will please David and help his family in raising funds for medical treatment.In December 2011, with a diagnosis of retroperitoneal neuroblastoma David admitted for treatment in the children's department of research. Since then, doctors and parents bravely fought for the life of the baby. David had a long period of treatment: 18 cycles of chemotherapy, surgery, autologous bone marrow transplantation and radiation therapy. And everything was fine. The kid went home with his parents in the Crimea.The family was happy — finally all together at home and all is well.But the visit in mid-June showed the presence of metastases in the hand and bone marrow relapse.It was just like a lightning strike to the parents.And then it all started again.Analyzes, surveys, and new round of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, the boy was discovered hepatitis B, but the tumor has responded and chemistry, and it is good news.At this point the doctors did everything they could to David. He went through all the treatment protocols that are possible in Ukraine. German Clinic of Würzburg is ready to take the boy on long-term treatment, but parents need to send a deposit of 100,000 euros till September 25th to the clinic's account! Этот умный, такой взрослый взгляд — такой знакомый мне с тех пор, как я снимаю фильмы для онкобольных малышей… Сколько терпения и спокойствия в этом симпатичном лице, как много пережил этот ребёнок, и… сколько при этом в нём обаяния! На видеосюжетах, которые я просмотрела, я видела одно: Давид очень любит маму, любит не просто как ребёнок, но как мужчина-защитник, как воин. Когда мама давала интервью и рассказывала о болезни сына, он сидел рядом и повторял одно: «Мамочка, ты только не плачь, пожалуйста… Всё будет хорошо…» «Господи, ему только пять лет!» — думала я. А ещё я думала о том, с какими удивительными детками-героями знакомит меня Господь. Какая это огромная честь для меня знать о них. Потому что один взгляд такого мальчика, как Давид придаёт сил к жизни. Потому что он сам являет собой вопрощение воли к Жизни, любви к Жизни… Я очень надеюсь, что мой маленький фильм порадует Давидика и поможет его семье в сборе средств на лечение.
