We have been remodeling the house and I could not decide on what to hang. This may not be right either, but it was a good excuse to finish a high res piece of art for fun. It is the time of year that I give a pin-up to my nephews and cousins, so this is their gift. It was fun to get back into it. I knew that this was the type of pose that I wanted to do, but had to work through it. You can tell by how many times I redrew and tried different color combinations that I was searching for what the "look" of this pose could be....  This is a demo for the Dramatic Narrative - Visual Communication 6 class that I teach at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Every week, the class receives a sentence or script that needs to be visualized into a conceptual painting. This demonstration represents the processes that can be used to isolate each of the visual requirements for a strong storytelling composition.
