Ксения Симонова и группа В.О.Д.А визуализировали украинскую народную песню
Kseniya Simonova visualized Ukrainian folk song Master of sand animation revived the beautiful folk song " Dvi Topoli " , performed by the finalists of the second edition of the show "Ukraine's got Talent" — V.O.D.A. band. Simonova especially likes to create stories based on the epic of different nations — she has already created " Russian fairy tale », "Beautiful Morocco", "Northern Tale " (based on the Norwegian Epic ). — It's a beautiful song . But the V.O.D.A. band made it so , which I love — says Kseniya,- it looks like Ukrainian ballads of 18-19 centuries. In school, I was fond of translations and translated several of these ballads into English. They are very visual, I think, on the basis of such songs I can make short animated films. Now I think about it. Another visualization of the national epic inheritage will be Kseniya's artwork , " China ", which the artist will soon present . Пришло время Украины. — Это красивая песня. Но группа В.О.Д.А. сделала её такой, в которую я влюбилась, — признаётся Ксения, — она похожа на украинские баллады 18-19 веков. В школе я увлекалась переводами и перевела несколько таких баллад на английский язык. Они очень визуальны, думаю, на основе таких песен можно снимать короткометражные мультфильмы. Сейчас я думаю об этом. На основе истории был снят трёхминутный анимационный фильм, который художница представит на кинофестивале Coro Vell в каталонском городе Terrassa. Особенностью фестиваля является требование: все представленные фильмы должны быть сняты одним включением камеры, без монтажа. Следующей визуализацией народного эпоса станет песочная работа «Китай», которую художница вскоре представит.
