This is the first of a very exciting challenge that I am setting up for myself. A new pin-up every week in 2010. Check out DrakePin-up.com for your weekly pin-up art in 2010. I will try to get most of them on to YouTube, but I want to focus on the art this year and creating a style. The videos sometimes take longer than the art. I will try to streamline the process through the year.
This weeks theme was directly connected to a personal event that happened this weekend. I have sold the Wakeboard boat that I have been severely neglecting the last couple of years as my family has been growing and my professional commitments and responsibilities have been drowning my "leisure time" (pun intended). March Madness!! College basketball is in full force these days and I needed a theme for the week, so here it is. Obviously inspired by comic book art his week, I wanted to have the heroic pose with the cape blowing in the breeze, but with a twist.
