Acrylics basics, mixing color on the pallet
Hey guys! This is Peter Dranitsin and today I will go briefly over basic color pallet. This video is really helpful for all new artists that have never painted before and wanted to sharpen their basic skills. I will start off with primary colors such as black, white, yellow, red, green, and blue. I will be mixing them together right here on this color pallet. One thing I wanted to mention about the type of paint I am using: I use high quality acrylic paint by company called Arteza. I have provided the link to art supply below in the video description for you. So the first thing is get your pallet prepared by adding all of the primary colors I have listed.
When it comes to mixing colors and setting up your color pallet for your next painting, take time to experiment creating variety of different shades of various colors. You will be amazed at what you can achieve just working with basic primary colors. I also encourage you to get familiar with creating colors that you need most often such as grey, brown, purple, orange as your secondary colors. Be sure to practice mixing your primary colors it will definitely save you time in the future.
Please do watch my next video where I will utilize this color pallet to create 4 different nature themes.
